Default Japanese stores go for Blu-ray

Japanese rental rental giants Tsutaya and Geo will start stocking Blu-ray discs in their stores in Japan. By summer Tsutaya it is expected to have Blu-ray disks in over 1,300 stores, while Geo will ahve Blu-ray movies in 800 stores.

HD DVD was never alive in Japan. Even before its death, HD DVD had about 5% of the Japanese market
