My BestBuy has a 5.1 setup consisting of four JBL Venue Monitors and a Voice. The Monitors are about $90 a pair, and the Voice is about $60. This is a big discount, but my question is, are these speakers worth the money?
These are the speakers I currently have: Onkyo SKS HT-540 And here are the JBLs: Monitors Voice Spec-wise, the JBLs aren't a huge improvement, but Onkyo's FR figures don't make any indication of how strict they are: -3dB, -6dB, -9dB...I just don't know. Any advice would be welcome. Unfortunately, I really have no way to test these things out unless I buy them and take them home, with the option of returning them. |
