Default Madden '09 Audio trouble

hey guys was wondering if anyone has a similar issue with the New Madden.

I like to play madden in my bedroom at night while the wife falls asleep...so I listen by using wireless seinheisser (sp?) headphones.

Its weird because ive never had this problem with any other game or bluray movie until now.

The audio sounds fine when its starting up, even ok in the menu...but once the game starts (when announcers talk and crowd cheers etc), the audio crackles and the commentators talk out of the right ear and the crowd cheering is from the left ear. Not sure why it is doing this, and why the crackle. Makes it almost unbearable to play.

Perhaps I have a bad disc? maybe a loose headphone connection?

I will try to re-connect everything later, but wanted to see if anyone had this problem. As I said, ive only experienced this with the new Madden. Its getting on my nerves.

well I guess no one else had this problem.

...took my game out into the living room where I have my receiver. Audio played fine. So I have narrowed it down to the TV. But its weird, it only does this with madden. No other game sounds like crap.

I'm wondering if it has anything to do with the two channel PCM through my hdmi cable directly through TV speakers. Its almost as if the audio is in multichannel PCM and would explain why the dialogue is coming through on one side, while stadium cheer is on both sides. Im wondering if the sound crackling is a result of being fed the .1 channel?? (fireworks exploding sounds the worst) I'm real'y scratching my head on this one.

I will try another hdmi cable tomorrow, if that does not solve the problem id hate to think my tv has gone bad?

oh well.
