Family Guy: Something Something Something Darkside: Bonus Digital Copy

This is listed on HMV's website, EzyDVD and Play

I actually thought that Blue Harvest was a bit dissapointing, all though I'll buy anything Family guy

I agree. If I wasn't such a Star Wars fan, I probably would have thought it actually sucked.

I will blind buy this when it comes out, however.

It's also listed on Amazon UK, so hopefully it will come. Hopefully the quality won't suck like Cavalcade of Comedy.

Just looked for Family Guy Blu-ray's on Amazon (US) the other day, and they only had seasons 1 and 8 as "notify me when available"... Would love the complete series on Blu-ray.

Hmmmm....I'm not so sure I'd really be interested in Family Guy on blu. Don't get me wrong, I love the show but its not worth the upgrade to me. The only way I'd get Something, Something Dark Side on blu is if it had some great exclusives. These types of shows aren't necessary on blu IMO. The only reason I bought the new season of South Park on blu was because its widescreen and the DVD isn't. That was worth the extra $5 to me.

I see your point... if you already have the DVD's. As for me I have only seen the show on analog cable TV, so a Blu-ray is a sure bet for me.

I really don't see the point of Family Guy on Blu-ray. It's not even animated in HD, iirc. Lossless audio? Why bother. They'd probably crop the image to 16:9 too.

It would be great for storage. One season could fit on one Blu-ray most likely.

With all the great songs in Family Guy I would love this with a TrueHD track.

Since it's Fox it would more likely be DTS HD-MA audio

I love Family Guy, and have done for years. However, I wouldn't blu them because they're a cartoon, and I don't see the point in blu cartoons. Animated films like Monsters Inc etc. are amazing in blu, but when its just colours and lines I don't see the point. I buy blu for skin texture, scenery, special effects (eg. explosions) etc.

Blu-ray cartoons are way worth it on Blu-ray but the whole 4:3 instead of 16:9 doesn't make it look good as it should. But there is the Justice League season 1 set that looks awesome in 4:3 but makes me wonder how it could of looked like in 16:9.

each to his own, but i've got no time for family guy on blu. its just not going to make the experience any more enjoyable. funny is funny, no matter if it is on vhs, dvd or blu.

However, more then likely it won't sound to much different then the dvd version kind of like the Seth MacFarlane's Cavalcade of Cartoon Comedy unless they do a better job with this Family Guy release
