I've got my receiver auto calibrated and when I listen to DTS or Dolby the bass is nice and loud. When I listen to pcm or uncompressed the sub is really low and when It bitstreams Dolby truehd over pcm it's the same thing. Little to no bass. Is there a setting I need to change or something or am I just gonna have to get a receiver that supports Truehd and dtshd?

Go into your receiver settings. Some receivers have a double bass option that might need to be turned on. Almost all receivers have an area in the setup where you can adjust the levels of each speaker. Go in and bump up your sub a bit. Also, don't be afraid to turn up the volume on the sub itself until it reaches your needs.
