Default I'm trying to find a 7.1 MCA cable, and solve my 48 pcm to 96 pcm problems

I wonder if anyone would know where I could find a good 7.1 multi-channel audio cable, so I can hook it up to my Sony BDP-S550 blu-ray player to my onkyo 706 receiver to get DTS-MASTER AUDIO.

Right now I have a PS3 hooked up with a HDMI into my onkyo 706 receiver, and then another HDMI from the receiver to my 46" Sony Bravia XBR2.

It's giving me 48 pcm on 7.1 and 5.1 movies. The fustraighting part of the whole thing is that, when after watching the previews on the Transporter 3 blu-ray, the DTS-MASTER AUDIO LOGO comes on the screen and the receiver clicks on to 96 pcm, and then when it is over, it clicks back on 48 pcm for the movie.

Would the new blu-ray player with the analog would fix the problem, or return it and deal with the 48 pcm. If anyone could help, your input would be much appreachated.

movies are 99% made using 48kHz sampling frequency. So I don't think you have any problems.

The only time you'll see anything with 96kHz is most likely with audio. Like the Dave Matthews Bluray is in 96kHz.

But for the normal hollywood movie, its gonna be 48kHz.

So don't worry about it.

Crackinhedz is right. I use my BDP-S550 using analog outs and it reports
48 kHz on every blu in my collection.
