Anyone else dislike Kung Fu Panda? - Blu-ray Forum

I was dragged to the theaters to see this movie over the summer and was thoroughly disappointed. It wasn't as funny as it was made out to be and the story lacked.....so much. I can say I do enjoy my fair share of kids movies, but to me this one was just terrible. And now it's, I think, the number 5 top seller for blu-ray?! wow

P.S. this isn't an open invitation for "I liked it a lot" or "you have no taste in movies". k, thanks

i agree! i did by it for my son on blu, but it is far from a good movie in my opinion

De Javu definatley. I didn't find it all that funny or exciting plus I felt I had already seen it, because it was cobbled together from so many other features.

Watched it once and enyojed the movie. Just purchase it, and I am looking foward to seeing it again. I believe that the movie is very good, and the PQ is excellent.

I find some parts of it to be hilarious and others funny. It is a fun movie overall.

I've already seen it 3 times, this movie is hilarious to no end, with spectacular visuals and a low-frequency output to make the entire house I live in rumble.

As a fellow martial artist, I find the message touching. This movie was great for me and the fight sequences were well done. I was actually surpised by the fights because I haven't seen fight sequences like that done through CGI before. Overall, great movie with funny moments to bring laughter to everyone. Kung Fu panda is near the top of dreamworks titles imho.

I found the movie very good actualy, PQ is amazing and the story quite fun too watch.

The PQ was stunning but the movie was only ok. I liked it, but it was one of those movies that I'll only watch once or maybe if it's on tv in the background but not something I would own and watch regularly.

I agree, PQ is amazing, and audio was good as well. AVSforums agrees as they rate Kung Fu Panda as reference quality for both PQ and AQ.

You posted in a public forum so I guess it is as so many have just said they liked it. And so did I. Thought it was very funny and enjoyable.

i watched it on standard dvd 1st and blu 2nd. i enjoyed the story and the picture quality was amazing on blu, especially the opening dream scene.

I watched it last night, I thought it was pretty good. I could not stop laughing at the beginning with the 'Chew on my fist!' part lol
