Denon 4308 Video Issue - Blu-ray Forum

I have moved recently and have not changed any of the configurations I had set on the Denon 4308 Receiver or PS3. The audio decoding seems perfectly fine when I feed audio from the PS3 but when I feed a video signal and it tries to pass it through the receiver the receiver display blinks in and out.

I know there is no issue with the video on the PS3 since I can directly feed the video and audio via HDMI into the Television. However, when the video is being decoded by the Denon receiver the receiver keeps on blinking in and out (no power loss, seems like it's confused about decoding).

Any suggestions/help would be appreciated.

Thank you for all of those who have at least looked at this thread. I don't know what exactly the issue was but I reset the microprocessors and configured all video output through Monitor 1 and that seemed to resolve the problem. So if anyone has this similar issue here are the instructions to reset the microprocessors on a Denon 4308:

Turn off the system by pressing the ON/OFF button on the front panel.

Open up the panel below the display. Locate the STANDARD and DSP SIMULATION (both in the upper left corner).

Now press and hold the ON/OFF, STANDARD, and DSP SIMULATION buttons simultaneously. If you did it correctly, the display should be blinking in 1 second intervals at which point you can let go of all the buttons.

Congratulations! You have just reset the microprocessors in your Denon receiver.
