Default Denon AVR-4308

I just got the Panasonic BD30K player that passes through HD audio. My Denon AVR-4308 receiver decodes both HD formats and I have the player connected via HDMI, but the appropriate HD indicator light is not lighting up on the receiver, just the pcm indicator. Usual Suspects and Live Free or Die Hard use DTS HD, but I am not getting the proper indicator light. Any suggestions? Thanks! Hawk.

Is the player set to bitstream?

I dont have that player but if its showing PCM than it sounds like the player is doing the decoding.... which you dont want.
Look and make sure its sending all of your audio as bitstream.

In the BD30 Setup menu, set all of the audio to output bitsteam. Also in that same menu screen, you have to turn off Secondary Audio.

If you don't turn off the Secondary Audio, all you get is regular Dolby Digital no matter what option you select in a movie.
