Do any BD players remember the playback position when you turn off the player? - Blu-ray Forum

This feature seems to be very difficult to implement, as most players seem to not be able to return to your position in the movie when you stop or turn off the player.

I believe several players do this but not for BD-J discs. I can vouch that the PS3 does.

Yeah if the disc is a BD-java disc then you have to create a bookmark before you stop watching it. Then you'll be able to select the right spot where you left off. If its not a BD-java the player should just pick up automatically.
