Anyone have issues with downloading from the PSN Store? - Blu-ray Forum

My son's new PSP will only download smaller files (less than 80mb in size) from a wifi connection to the internet via the PSP.

We have tried to download Secret Agent Clank and a few others and it's going along fine (lights flashing etc) and then about 65 to 70% (it varies on each try) it just stops and says connection has timed out. All other connections to our wifi setup work just fine.

Using the latest firmware and a PSP3000.

Can someone confirm that this device can download those larger files from teh store without timing out?

I thought about that too, however, it's the 1GB stick that came with the PSP and there is very little on it already.

I just checked again and it says 816MB free.

So no one has issues with downloading from the store with large download sizes?

i dunno man, you've got me stumped. i'm not familiar with downloading from the store on the psp. but can you download onto the ps3 and transfer from there?

I agree, just download the video you want on your PS3 and just
copy it onto your PSP via USB!!

Yes we could do it that way but we shouldn't have to do it that way.

i have never had an issue with this. i have downloaded several games straight to my psp from the store. I have an older psp1000 phat series with the latest firmware. I have not downloaded anything for a while, maybe sony is having some network issues...

I downloaded 25 PS1 games from my PS3 to my PSP on Saturday morning. No problems to report.

Were the games all over 100mb in size?
