I never bought these films on DVD because they were fullscreen only. Hopefully Warner gives them a good remaster. (I know, it's Warner).

It is a classic comedy that I would probably buy at some point as long as they do the movie right with the BD.

Haven't seen this but will pick it up for sure at some point. Also noticed sphere and of course Heat which was been talked about last year are making there way to Blu-Ray

This is a warm and funny movie with 2 great actors. Will buy for sure!

LOVED this movie! Wife and I watch it at least once a month for a great bunch of laughs. Definite first day buy for us!

Walter Matthau and Jack Lemmon have perfect comedic chemistry. I'll gladly pick this up when it comes out.

About time, I love this movie and have put off buying the DVD because it only comes in Full Screen

I never bought this movie for it was never in widescreen.

So this will be a first day purchase.

Not full screen, its open matte. The entire 35mm frame was exposed. It was matted in theaters to 1.85.

You can achieve widescreen by zooming the image to 16x9. Basically equivalent to a non anamorphic widescreen dvd.

I do hope this comes out on Blu though.

This is nuts. I was thinking about this movie last night. "When are they going to release it?" I was watching JFK and they're both in that movie as well. They're both hilarious and will be sorely missed. Another great one is out to sea. Long story short, they're pretending to be dance hosts for a discounted cruise. I didn't buy any of the movies either because of the full screen crap. Hopefully we'll get the original ratio.

The Burgess Meredith outtakes will be worth the price of the disc alone

PS Sophia Loren is still drop dead gorgeous at her age!!

Yeah, Out to Sea was another good one. Hollywood doesn't make comedies like they used to...

I actually had forgotten about those outtakes. Those were hilarious. I really hope they do a good job with the BD for this so I can buy it.
