Default Tilting or Flat Wall Mount?

Which is better?

I currently have a flat one wall mount but am considering a tilted one.

This will be for my future 42/46" Plasma

Having a tilting mount makes it easier to hook up cables if you ever need to make changes behind your set. Also, it can get pretty dusty behind there and the tilting also helps if you want to clean it up a little. I encourage most people to go ahead and get one just because you never know when you might want to tilt it.

Only real advantages of a non-tilting mount are they are a bit cheaper, and sometimes don't stick out as far from the wall.

Tilt. No if, ands, or buts about it.

if you can afford a really good one, tilt it!

just make sure you install it super securely! because they'll stick out a little further than flat-mount, their pull on your wall is larger.

but changing cables in the back is much easier!

(i'm assuming you mean tilt mount by -turning the tv side to side and not just tilt the angle of the tv up and down)

I would say tilting as well, just because it gives you far more options as far as seating and viewing.

Are you asking about a tilting or Articulating ??
Tilting is just up and down
Articulating is back and forth, front and rear

I prefer lo-profile
