Angry Acer Aspire 5920

Hi,
Please help!!
I've just brought a brand new Acer with blu ray. Having figured out (eventually) how to change the region code setting (!), I'm now trying to play a blu ray dvd and although it's played through all the trailers and is now on the title page, I can't get the thing to play - despite clicking onto play - what am I doing, or not doing??? Would be grateful if anyone has any suggestions, as I'm getting more and more frustrated!

What player software are you using? You might want to try using a different software...

Instead of clicking... try the Arrow keys and Enter.

While this is not conclusive answer, I thought I would add to the pot and perhaps you will find something that works for you. Not sure what software you have but you might want to check this out. The Acer software, Acer Arcade Deluxe is known to have issues with properly playing BDs. Some people have had much luck using a different software such as DVD 8 Ultra or Nero 8 Ultra. Basically something that enhances BD play back ability.

Best luck to you!
