Surely not the best way to do it.
1. Why do you need two extensions? Is it because your gear is too far from the wall outlet? 2. Putting an air conditioner on the same circuit as your gear is not a good idea. The AC starts and stops to regulate your room temperature however when it starts/stops it creates current spikes which is not really good for your electrical equipment (often you can hear through your gear a pop when the device start/stops). Also I'm pretty sure that an AC will introduce unwanted noise on the line. Furthermore, depending on the capacity of the AC it can draw a lot of current. With your other gear you might overload the circuit causing the breaker to trip. 3. It is always a good idea to use at least a surge protector before sensible electronic equipments. In that case it's better to be safe than sorry, yes perhaps you could live many years without a problem but when it happens you will learn the hard way. What I would do in your case, is: - Put the AC on another electrical circuit; - Plug a surge protector (or power conditioner with surge protection) with your PS3, Wii and PC on one of the outlet; - Plug the Automatic Voltage Regulator (500 watts) on the other outlet left on the wall plate and plug your plasma in it (assuming that your Automatic Voltage Regulator is a power conditioning device with surge protection). If the Automatic Voltage Regulator is a UPS, plug the TV with the other components on the surge protector and put the UPS between the PC and surge protector; you don't need a UPS for a Plasma (and unless you have a UPS that delivers pure sine wave current it's not designed to be used for a plasma display). A UPS is helpful for HT to cool down components that need to be cooled before shutting down (like a projector), to prevent data loss on a PVR/media center/PC. Well I hope this helps!
