Okay i just got a new power conditioner and im ready to hook everything up.I have 7 things i need to hook up to it..It has 8 outlets can i hook up a subwoofer to it.or does the subwoofer have to be connected by itself to a independant outlet.or can i just hook up the subwoofer as well.

Check your manual for your subwoofer and receiver/amplifier. They should give a suggestion as to whether or not they should be attached to a power conditioner. If you can't find anything send an email to those manufacturers.

Because of the power demands of high power amplifiers it can be best if you do not connect them to any intermediary device, but rather directly to the socket.

I've had ZERO issues with everything in my power conditioner/surge protector, and I regularly put my Onkyo 605 to the test! 400watt 12", sub as well.

It is not necessary to Run Hi Current Items like Amps or In most cases Sub Woofers into Power Conditioners . It is important that the dedicated plug in is well grounded .

Most power conditioners have high current outlets, use those for amps and active subs.

My sub SVS 20-39 PC+ is connected to my APC H10 (I included that link just for you DrinkMore :P, the link is to the new model I have the original).
