Default Help: connecting laptop to tv

Hi everyone, I'm new here. I apologize if this thread has been created before but I needed some help with connecting my Laptop to the TV

I have the Acer Aspire 6920g and I wanted to know how to connect it to my TV through the HMDI port? or Do I just connect it through the VGA port?

What are the input options for your TV?
What are the output options of your laptop?

You might need some sort of adapter.

If I understand you..

the VGA port on the TV will put the computer monitor up
the HDMI port will support a HDMI out if your computer has one for BD

If I looked up the correct laptop, it looks like you have both VGA and HDMI outputs. They both support high resolutions (i.e. 1080p) if I'm not mistaken, but VGA will not pass sound, whereas HDMI can do both picture and sound.

So the best way to connect would just depend on what kind of TV and sound system you have. Maybe with more information I can help more. But I would suggest HDMI.
