Help me remember this movie . . . - Blu-ray Forum

This has been bothering me for a few days now, trying to think of what movie this is from.

The scene is basically there are two (I think) kids, maybe adults, and they're running through the streets with a guy in a biohazard suit. The guy in the biohazard suits tell the two people to get in a car that they find on the street, and after they get in the car the army comes and kills the guy in the biohazard suit with a flamethrower. For some reason I was thinking the guy in the biohazard suit was Marc Blucas, but I looked at his imdb page and can't find anything that matches what I'm thinking of.

Any help is appreciated

The guy that gets toasted is a military guy played by Jeremy Renner. The details of the scene are a little different from how you remember.

One of those "he was actually a useful character, why'd you have to go and kill'um" kind of moments.

Sweet, thanks guys! I was thinking 28 Weeks Later, but I haven't watched that since it came out on Blu-ray . . . seemed like I'd seen it more recently than that. Either way, it feels like a vice grip has been released from my brain.

No problem, I only watched it once in the theater.... I'm waiting for a sale before I buy it on blu, I own the DVD but have yet to watch it (I'm terrible at that). I think it's one of the better sequels in recent memory and that scene you were talking about as well as the helicopter scene were the two stand outs....
