Default Help me remember what movie this is.

It's a horror ghost movie. They're somehow using electrical devices like TV's and cell phones to exist. At the end they drive away into dead zones to escape but find a pocket with radio transmissions and they get in through the car radio. For whatever reason red tape keeps them out. At one point they find someone partly responsible for what happened with his room completely covered in red tape.

Just can't seem to remember what this movie is called for some reason. ><

The Pulse

I actually liked that movie despite the fact that most of the cast was a bunch of TV actors (Kristen Bell, the one guy from Lost, the guy from Alias).

Thank you. It's really quite sad. It's one of the first horror movies both my girlfriend and I liked in quite some time and both of us forgot the name of it.

I highly recommend the Japanese version.

Damn, that sounds pretty good...but most Japanese ghost story-movies are. I'll have to remember that one, even though the ending is pretty much ruined now.

The Japanese version is much creepier than the US version and the ending is very different. It always seems that when they remake the movies, the new version is missing the creep factor.

This was actually the first remake of a Japanese horror flick I didn't hate.

The Ring
The Grudge
Dark Water

Hated all of them (there are probably others I made have watched but those are the 3 that come to mind).

I guess I can also say that I didn't hate this movie, but I didn't really like it either. Pulse was kinda lame and cheezy in my opinion.

Have you seen Shutter yet? I liked the original and with past history of remakes I'm almost afraid to watch it.

I actually thought the remake was really creepy and eerie but there was still something not quite right with it.

Though I would still buy it on Blu-Ray, it would look amazing.

You can buy the dvd for $3 shipped on amazon. And I wouldn't hold my breath for a bluray release.

Shutter was kinda stupid imo, and not overly creepy for most of it. *spoiler* One big problem is that if that girl was able to come back as a ghost because she was raped and committed suicide there would be a hell of a lot of ghosts around over the years.

Actually, I thought The Ring was better than Ringu, but didn't care for The Grudge or Dark Water (bad movie). The Japanese version of Pulse is much better.
