Default Blu-ray Over Home Network

I know that there are network compatible blu-ray players available (LG has one, for example) but I would like to know how to configure my Sony BDU-X10S for use over my home network. I have it hooked up to one computer in my living room as an external drive through USB. I want to be able to play movies on it through the network on my computer in another room. The serving computer is Windows XP, and the other is Vista HP. I can only access data folders on the disc itself, and cannot access the playable movie. The movies run fine using PowerDVD on the computer its hooked up to. Is there a way around this?

when you say this, do you mean you can see all the files on the disc? like the 'STREAM' folder and contents etc? You could try opening the 00001 (or similar) file in PowerDVD and see if it plays.

That's right. I can see the data folders in windows explorer on my other computer; the computer I'm trying to use over the network. However, none of the folders appear to be playable by PowerDVD. I'll keep trying though, to see if that folder you mentioned works. Thanks!
