Default Samsung 1600, 2500, 2550, 3000. Im Lost, PLEASE HELP

Ok, I just bought the Samsung 67" DLP HL67A750. Now I need a Blu-Ray player & I havent a clue of what the he11 the difference is, or what half the features do. Can someone explain the difference & maybe give some advice on a good choice. I want it to be pretty decent, up convert, fit for surround sound, home theater system, games, internet, Netflix, etc. Thank You

I have been quite satisfied with my BD-P2500. I don't think that I miss having Pandora (2550 has that too, but costs more) at all. There's rumors about netflix streaming to PS3's in the future if you are interested in streaming but it doesn't do it yet. If you are going to get a Samsung, I'd say save some cash and get the 2500 over the 1600 or 3600. The only thing the 3600 does over the 2500 that I know of is have built-in wireless connectivity but I like to hard-wire network connections rather than rely on wireless.

A lot of people won't put all their "eggs" in one basket. A PS3 is great for games,....it will also play Blu-Ray's and DVD's. Is it the best ? Some think so,....others don't. In the early days of Blu-Ray,.... it was. Opinions vary,..... but I don't think so any more.

I prefer to have a "stand alone" Blu-Ray/DVD player,.... and a "stand alone" game system. To me "all in one" solutions are like "built in" graphics adapters on a computer motherboard. They do the job,..... but they are not the "best they can be" at doing it.

I have a Samsung 2500 Blu-Ray player,....it also streams movies from Netflix when hooked to my DSL . It does a great job in all areas,..... and a superior job of upscaling DVD's,... because of the Reon chipset. I picked it over several others,.... and it hasn't disappointed me yet.

The newer series is the BDP 1600 and BDP 3600.

You'll find that everyone has a preference based on their experience. Choose one for the features you want ,... and go for the BEST possible unit you can afford. Stay with the "Big Players" and you should be fine.
