I didn't see this mentioned anywhere but I would think that this would make an awesome addition to the Blu-ray collection.

I would prefer the older movie.

Yup, Cruise ruined it for me.

I'd take either one. Although I don't really like Cruise it didn't ruin the movie for me and I still found it enjoyable. I could imagine the audio would be intense if it were released on Blu.

I really liked the Spielberg version of War of the Worlds, so I'd definitely pick that up if it were to come on Blu. I'd also love Minority Report to come on Blu as well. Love that movie!

I liked it too, I don't really understand all the bad hype it got.
