Canada Problem with My Bloody Valentine digital copy

I inserted my digital copy into my computer and it loaded up what looks to be the disc 2 from the dvd special features with no prompt to download the digital copy. Has anyone else had this problem?

My disc says it's the digital copy. My brother has the same problem and he bought his from Best Buy while I bough mine from Futureshop.

It may be that the disc is authored to have both standard DVD-Video special features, as well as a DVD-ROM section with the digital copy - Universal did this very thing previously on Hellboy II. It is possible that your computer Autoran the DVD-Video segment, and you just have to go hunting for the digital copy portion.

Open iTunes or whatever and see if the disc shows up there - I know past digital copies get autorecognized by iTunes. Also, go into My Computer and then into the DVD drive and see what comes up- the disc may have a Digital Copy autorun feature, or you might be able to find the startup exe from the Explorer window (I'm assuming you're on a PC, but there are comparable methods for Mac).

Lionsgatedigital told me to look for a wmv file to export the digital copy. There was no wmv file on the disc. My itunes does not recognize the disc either.

I work at Rogers video, apparently all canadian copies came with the dvd extra disk rather than the digital copy disk.

I contacted info@maplepictures.com and received this reply.

Thank you for contacting us about this. Please do not return to the
store to try to exchange the disc. This was a problem that occurred
through all our Blu-rays for this title. We are having the correct discs
delivered to consumers who have encoutered this problem.
I will have this sent to the address below; if you could also send me
your phone number to include in the delivery information that would be
great.

We apologize for the inconvenience.

this same thing happened to me with harold and kumar 2 , it said includes digital copy on the box but it wasnt distriputed in Canada so i complianed and a few days later got another copy of the blu from the states that had the digital copy, so i got 2 copies of the movie.

Thanks for the email address. I just sent the them an email with a copy of my Future Shop receipt. Same thing happened to me.
