^ Ive Never understood the love for Dawn of the Dead, it's a cheap poorly acted film with some social commentary. That's It. (I don't add Day of the Dead, as that is more or less loathed). To me the remake is better in everyway apart from some annoyinh security gaurd 'characters' and lack of social commentary.

Anyway, at the end of the day the Evil Dead Trillogy is better then all of these examples combined.

-the "cockicidial maniac"/cafe au lait..pour vous scene
-the reaction of shaun and his friend on the ouch when they turn and see the zombie standing there is pretty hilarious.

I also like the scene from 'Return of the Living Dead' when the guy has the top of his ripped off as the zombies enter through the window and a geyser of blood just spurts a mile from his head.

this scene gave me nightmares for a loooong time as a kid.
