I was disappointed by the lack of any good information and the reliance on talking points.

I'm happy in the knowledge that cross-game communication is coming in a future update. Pain in the arse having to quit out to the XMB to send or receive a text message.

PS3 already has plenty of advantages in that area like the stylish, moveable software keyboard, dictionary for quicker word input and the ability to send pictures under 1MB in size.

The PlayStation Eye camera released next month could do with some more XMB supporting features like the ability to send recorded video messages.

Guessing not many developers wanted to 'create' or utilize their own solution in that regard. Oh well, at least one game uses Xfire heh.

I think they should make the file size of a photo bigger to be honest. I keep having to resize my pics just to send them. And If were gonna send video messages (Which is a great idea) I think we will need a good file size considering it will be HD. And I think we should be able to record videos from the EYE TOY to the HDD aswell.

Something in that vid worried me. The part when the sony guy was asked about the online being free. The bloke asking questions said 'And you guys will never charge for online?' and the Sony guy said 'Right now thats are model, in time, anything can change.' Don't you think thats a little scary?

A little. Hopefully just protecting himself from being quoted years from now if they do decide to charge.
Online gaming should be free. It's not charged on PC's, and the 360 shouldn't charge either!

Its true, we have already paid for the game, why should we have to pay more? MS always want to make money but sony have always been about there customers. And him protecting himself is what scares me lol. Surly sony wouldn't do that. Thats one of the big things about the ps3. If anything MS will stop charging, I doubt it but its a better idea then to start charging.
