Default Setup help please

I have the new Panasonic Blue Ray Player BD60 and the new Onkyo 607 Receiver.

I have a 46" Toshiba HDTV with directv HDTV DVR receiver and hdmi xbox 360.

I need some help what the best way to connect everything?

and what menu setup settings do I put on the Panasonic Blue Ray player BD-60 and what menu setup settings I put on the Onkyo 607 receiver?

Thanks

Hdmi all around.

DVR to 607 IN
Blu ray player to 607 IN

607 OUT to TV

3 hdmi cables total

That will get you started...

Not sure about xbox, hdmi? or component cables to the 607 as well

You have two audio output options. With PCM the player is decoding, outputting the audio signal as PCM. If you select bitstream the receiver will decode the lossless audio. With bitstream you may miss out on some audio in the Blu-ray disc menu. Some people prefer bitstream because then you see the "TrueHD" and "DTS-HD MA" indicator lights on the Onkyo display. Audio quality will be exactly the same whether it's the player or the receiver decoding the audio.
