Default MTV Movies Awards. My god what a steaming pile of dog &#*@!

Seriously, does anyone here think any of this crap is remotely entertaining??

Disclaimer: The only and I mean ONLY reason I even have it on is because my wife just HAD to see the new trailer for "New Moon" which unfortunately aired on this infernal program!!

I must cosign with the original statement. To hell with it. My sister was watching it...I promptly decided it was time to head back to my own house...

I think it's what Bettman is talking about... given the choice between the Cup finals and the MTV movie awards, your average American television watcher apparently clicks on the most vapid of brainless for entertainment. *LOL*

I think this pretty well sums it up. There was no more need to comment after this one.

best part of the whole thing was when Bruno fell from his wires and landed right in Eminem's lap..with his gross hairy man taint right in Eminem's face!!

it was awesome!!

What astounds me about this so called "awards show" is complete abscence of maturity and utter lack of professionalism. I know it's not the Oscars but my god, you'd think that the network would be interested in establishing SOME form of credibility to it. As it is, it feels like the whole thing is produced by a bunch of frat boys. Even many of the recipients acted as if they were embarassed to be there. I honestly felt sorry for Zack Efron having to give that acceptance speech following the whole debacle with Eminem.

BTW, what the hell did Megan Fox do to herself?!? She looks haggard compared to how she looked in the original Transformers! Did she have cosmetic surgery?!?

MTV is dead to me. It was infected with a horrible disease called "reality TV" in the 90's and never recovered.

Yeah, that's exactly why I didn't stay up. Some combination of Eminem getting balls to the face at the exact same time as Zac Efron beating Heath Ledger for best male performance, I had to bail on that show.

I stop carrying about who actually wins the awards years ago. It's clear that "tween" girls are the only ones who vote, since Twilight or High School Musical 3 won practically every award.
I thought Andy Samberg did a good job. I really love him on SNL and thought his video about not looking back after explosions was really funny. He's got a unique humor but I'm hoping he gets some bigger movie roles soon.

I can honestly I say I haven't watched MTV in years. The only reason I still know it exists is because I catch my wife watching various crappy non-music related shows on the channel that formerly was awesome about 15 years ago.

Agreed. I hate MTV now. Their shows are just crap and their award shows are the worst (right along with Spike's Video Game Awards).
