Hello. I recently bought a Bravia Z 46" and it leans slightly forward on its stand.
Is this intended by Sony or is there an adjustment to a mounting bracket that I don't see that I could/should make? Thank you. ![]() |

check the bolts in the back to make sure they are tight (but not overtight)
or, it could be the pedastal itself is bad....it should stand str8 not lean in either direction PS, why did you buy the z4100 (120hz) when the z5100 is out (240hz)? |

Sorry for your issues, for some reason a bunch of the Z4100 series in 40inch and 46inch seem to lean forward very slightly, no one knows why (trust me I called everyone). Try returning it to the store and get them to open up a new one to see if its the same. It will not affect the performance of the TV but its an annoyance.

Actually scratch that, you want to take off the TV stand and tighten the screws at the bottom of the stand itself. If its leaning more than 15-20 degrees call Sony and have them send a new stand, they are aware of the problem. Or if all else fails return the TV for an exchange if possible.

I would guess the $1500 price tag on the Z4100 over the $2500 price tag on the Z5100, as well as the adequacy of 120Hz might have played a small role in his buying decisions

Thanks, all! I will try this suggestion, and then call Sony if it doesn't work.
To answer another poster's query. Yes, the 240HZ seems better, but the extra $1K wasn't in the budget.
