DS3 Help Needed - Blu-ray Forum

Won't work as wireless, as soon as i unplug it it starts flashing across 1 - 4 indicators does not respond to pressing ps button, works like a charm when plugged in. It is fully charged. How does blue tooth handshake work.

You need to initiate the handshake between the PS3 and the DS3 from the Settings Menu in the PS3. The exact entry in Settings escapes me at the moment.

turn the system off plug the controller in with the cable and then turn the system on that syncs ut much easier

It should automatically setup when you plug it in.

Get a pin or something, there's a reset button right beside (or below) the red LED's on the controller. Press that, then plug the controller back into the PS3 and press the PS button. It should re-sync and work again.

First you need to turn the PS3 all the way off using the toggle switch at the back of the console (not just the softswitch up front).

Plug the DS3 into a USB port on the PS3.

Switch the PS3 main power toggle to ON (LED turns red).

Switch the PS3 ON (LED turns green).

Press the PS button.

Controller should pair.

EDIT: Missed it by THAT much.
