DS3 = DualShock 3 controller.

You don't have to "turn on rumble" - it should be on by default.

Not all games support rumble, but the ones that do should work right out of the box (some games were patched after the fact).

I think it's Settings-Accessory Settings-then Dualshock Vibration Control(or something like that)-switch Vibration to on. But however a lot of games don't have Dualshock control and usually the ones that do mention it on the cover(at least I know American releases do).

have you tried going to the game options section of your game? also the vibration can occur in certain situations(mostly like cutscenes and stuff like that).

Should be the same but I never own an import since U.S. has black and silver dualshock 3 controllers(but I just use the black ones mostly)

it feels so much inferior to my sixxis, i can't stand the buttons, it needs to apply much more pressure it's unbearable.

Yeah at least Dualshock 3 controllers can give you the option of Six-Axis or Dualshock(though some games have certain times that require Six-Axis but I think that changed once Dualshock 3 controllers came out). Plus the Six-Axis controller is very light and sometimes actually slips out of my hands.

?

My DS3 takes the same button pressure as my SixAxis controllers. It's just twice as heavy. Most people like having the heftier controller.

It's cause you need to use it more....thats how new controllers are. Or do you just push to softly?? My white was that way, i got it in jan 08. Then just got a black in dec 08 . Stiff buttons.
