Default Blood: The Last Vampire - Review Thread
Just saw it this morning.

As a genre film and particularly as a live-action adaptation of an anime, it was pretty good. But if you see it as ONLY a standalone movie with no anime reference as your background, it is mildly entertaining but perplexing.

Problems are: plot holes, no establishment of the rules of the supernatural world, unnecessary and underutilized characters, excessive use of CG blood (fake liquid blood not good anymore?), uneven placement of fight sequences, and bad ADR. The ending is just perplexing from story telling point of view.

The sound mixing and design are dynamic and aggressive. And Liam Cunningham is dishy.
