Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince Review Thread - Blu-ray Forum

Please only vote in the poll if you've seen the movie.

This is a public poll so we can see who we agree with.

I thought we'd do the review thread a little differently. After you've seen the movie, vote in the poll. Blu-ray.com members that haven't seen the film can get a general star rating from the members that have seen it.

Also, please be courteous and use spoiler tags until the Monday following release (if you need to learn how to do spoiler tags, there's a sticky at the top of this forum).

So Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince starts tonight. Post your reviews here!

We saw a sneak peak last night in Tampa, Fl. It was pretty good deff not a 100%.. I dont want to give to much away but there is a lot of "SET UP" 4 the next Potter. It was heavy on Dialoge, a bit of action but mostly story telling. If anyone has any questions on the flick ask and I'll answer!..The beginning of the movie felt like your where on a Rollercoster.. I thought the camara pans were lame, over all it was good I give it a 67%...

very true, i'm both nervous and excited for this movie. and since i've read the books, i'm not to worried about spoilers so i'll be reading everything people post on it b/c i don't think i'm gonna make it to the theater for this one!!!

that just means i'll be catching both of part 7 in the theaters!!!

You didn't like it?! Wow, I never knew that Half-Blood Prince would be a train wreck to the audience....

But, still, I'll tell you my review once I watch the movie.

In the videogame, the tower scene plays somewhat unlike the book, with harry watching through the floorboards

That's correct, but there is abattle at the burrow in the middle of the movie.

Edit: Don't get me wrong, it would be great if the movie could follow the book word for word, but it's just not possible.

this actually really makes me mad, how could they have cut the defining moment of the book from the movie???

It was really good but I expected more from it..BUT i know its a set up 4 the next 2!.. OHH..BTW..There are so much sexual enduwindows in the film its funny... Kids are making out in this film..They are starting to grow up.. It was very dark way darker than the most of them. I got a HP hat and a shrit and some posters!!..The HAT is sick looking
