Schindlers List without a doubt! Best film he ever made. SPR and Close Encounters are next.

Most of the films he has directed did not have Nazis in them.

However, I'm all for filmmakers reminding us at every available opportunity just how evil Nazis were. They should always be depicted as evil. Should we be surprised when Jewish filmmakers choose to do this? I think everyone will agree that it is something we should never forget...unless your name is Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and/or you think the holocaust was a hoax. (also known as idiots)

Close Encounter Of The Third Kind, his best work IMO and it as Francois Truffaut, what more can we need?

ET is my personal favorite movie of all time. I don't think it is the best, or most well made film ever(that goes to Raging Bull). Its just the movie that means the most to me of all movies. If I could only choose one movie to ever watch again, it would be ET.

That being said I voted for Schindlers List as it is Spielbergs best movie, in that it is his best, most well made film.

If I had known ET had 0 votes so far I would have voted for it to give it at least a little bump.

I think his best film was Schindler's List, but I wouldn't want to watch that more than once. I'd go with Jurassic Park, which is somehow not in the poll despite it being the biggest film of all time until Titanic overtook it.
