Which movie do you think will be #1 at the box-office this weekend?

Variety is saying it will be the new Dragon Ball Super movie....

Yeah I intend to see Super Hero in theatres this weekend, even if Vegeta is my favourite DBZ character and it seems he's sidelined for the film.

I also want to see Bodies, Bodies, Bodies but between work, running 9 miles on Saturday and helping my sister move after work on Sunday, it'll be interesting to see if I can go to the movies at all.

On Tuesday I'm seeing Beast, Bodies, and Orphan.

DB will be #1 with over 20 Million.

Well then why didn't they release MHA World Heroes Mission in wide release after Mugen Train did so well?

The IMAX screen here is about half full for the 10pm Super Hero showing, over 100 tickets. At the same theater, Beast has sold six tickets. Beast may not even get 2nd this weekend.

It’s weird. When I saw Mugen Train it was just me and like 4 other people at the showing I went to. Though I missed MHA.

But Dragonball always does really well in my area.

Time to close up all theaters and replace them with something more needed. Like a tractor supply store Or a million other Dollar Trees/Dollar General/Family Dollars.

I do love the random industry sources whom Deadline quotes in their box office articles. Check out this one about Beast:

“‘Nobody likes to watch people getting eaten by lions'” exclaims one industry source, quoting what they heard the late Sumner Redstone say during his exhibition days after he caught a screening of the 1981 Tom Skerritt lion movie, Savage Harvest. I heard at the time there were exhibitors who loved the movie — but it was a bloody massacre at the domestic box office. Nobody came.
