Default Burn in image! Please help!

I have an Insignia 32' LCD HDTV. Recently I have been playing my ps2 in 4:3 and had not used fullscreen in any way while I was playing that game. Now anything fullscreen (noticed when playing ps3) has two black bars on the sides where the borders from the 4:3 were. Is there any way to fix this? Please help!!!

One commonly misunderstood concept. LCD's can burn-in, though it usually takes longer than plasma and the quality of the set has a lot to do with it. Not surprising to hear about this on an Insignia set. I doubt you would get this with a good Sony or Samsung.

Sure. But hell, we leave Acer, Dell, HP, and Optiplex LCDs with the static Windows login screen on for weeks at a time and haven't had any problems at all. CRTs.... different story

Very rare for ANY lcd to get burn, even a crap brand.

Well, the game (Persona 3) was about 45 hours long and at the time I was watching regular tv in 4:3. It must have been the ending, because it was about 2 and half hours long. So there really is no way to fix this?

Keep your set on full screen for awhile. It's possible that will "even things out" after some time. Otherwise...

Dude, set your PS2 into "Progressive Scan" mode and you can then use Full Screen with your PS2 games (and movies) with minimal stretching.
