Where was Carol Marcus in Star Trek III - Blu-ray Forum

Hey I broke down and bought The Star Trek Orginal Motion Picture collection on Blu-Ray.And last night I watched Star Trek III. Well there was something I would like to know Where was Carol Marcus in part III? She was scene at the end of Wrath of Khan.But by part 3 she completly vanished. Yeah we see David in 3 and gets killed by The Klingons. Surley Kirk got in touch with her to inform he of there sons death? I was wondering where she was at?

They give an explanation in the novelization of STIII, but I read it back when the film was released and cannot remember what was the scoop. If you pick up the book, you can find out . . .

Ok thanks. Never read any of the novel versions of The Trek movie. Yeah the novel's of movies are pretty great to read as they usely contain scenes that are not in the movie version. As in the novel version of Star Wars where we meet Luke the first time hanging out with his friends where in the movie version we dont meet Luke untill the scene where The Jawas show up on his uncles farm to sell his uncle the druids that will change Lukes life for ever.
