Walmart.ca is advertising The Shawshank Redemption for $16.83. Whether you can actually find it at that price, and in stock, is another matter.

This deserves a place in every collection. It's ranked #1 on IMDB and I think it has something for everyone.

Stephen King and Frank Darabont outdid themselves.

It's my joint-favourite movie of all time, along with Mulholland Drive (I'm weird).

i would suggest printing it off and bring it to the store JUST IN CASE! they messed up on marley and me when it was first released and a few of us lucky ones got marley and me for 10 bucks or whatever price it was hehe

Picked up The Shawshank Redemption for the $16.83 price as quoted. They had about 4 copies at the Trafalgar Rd & Dundas St (Hwy#5) location in Oakville, as of 8am this morning.

I would like to buy the entire Dirty Harry set so I'll use CHCanada if they lower the price. If not, I'll import the other four from the UK as they are all in the Amazon 3 for 2 deal, and I'll hunt down Dirty Harry at Walmart. It would be a great collection to own on blu I think.

Excellent Movie.....got mine awhile ago (when it hit the market) for full price. oh whatever its one of my best movies...hence the early purchase. CLASSIC.

Is it just me, or has Walmart lost allot of there Blu-Rays seems there inventory at stores lately is rather small. AND everything is locked up now too. Stupid criminals......

I am seriously considering doing the same with the digibook & importing the other 4 individuals. I don't especially like the 5-film box set (same height as DVD case, has 2 digipaks 1 for the 1st 2 films & the other for the remaining 3).

Well, I just bought four of the Dirty Harry movies from Jimbo976 and imported the missing one from the UK.

The Enforcer, Casino, and Raging Bull came to $46.17 delivered and the other four from Jimbo cost me $50 delivered. The CHCanada set would cost around $108 shipped so I saved $12 and got two additional movies.

FYI - I just got dinged for $6.23 in duties from our Customs Officials for a vinyl import of Annie Lennox from amazon UK. This is the first time that has happened. The girl at the post office told me that she's seen an increase on duties from amazon US and UK imported product.
