Default Do You Crave Knowledge & Information?

Who here craves knowledge and info? I just can't seem to get enough of it. Tv, internet, real life, books, music, whatever it may be I want to soak it up. How things work, run, are made, built, bought, sold, cleaned, destroyed, invented, etc etc. History, past, present, future. Design, architecture, art, science, space, automotive, etc etc.

It's like I can't get enough. I have been this way since birth. Lol. Lately it seems I am running out of resources - or ones that I prefer to indulge in. Sound crazy?

I love useless knowledge. My wife nicknamed me Clark Griswold because I will point out facts that no one really cares about.

If you want to try to get your hands around something different, delve into the world of Pokemon. My kids love it.

Lol, Clark Griswold is funny as hell. Love the Vacation series of films. As for Pokemon, not my cup of tea. I think that is more for kids.

If your looking for something to read up on, look into secret societies and the conspiracy theories surrounding them. You will have weeks, months or years of sources depending on how in depth you want to go. Now I don't believe 1% of what I've read, but it is interesting.

I actually might have a new project to keep me busy here. I have a shipment of several hundred old photos coming my way and I will have to sort through them, scan them in and give them "identities". I find it fun to think about who these people are in the photos and what their lives might have been. Seems interesting.

I crave knowledge and information - my wife complains because Discovery, TLC, Science Channel, History, Smithsonian, PBS, etc. are the channels I watch aside from sports.

But my problem is that I am borderline ADD...I get so involved in something and then get bored with it at the drop of a hat and move on to the next thing...lots of money wasted on my "I'm gonna do..." projects that don't get started (because I used to start them and would stop them half way through and leave the unfinished projects all over the place).

I crave it. I know more than anyone my age, I like to think. More common knowledge - science, history, politics, geography, etc - stuff like that.

I'm the same way too. As a kid I would love to just flip through encyclopedias and stop and read what interested me-I do that in bookstores now as an adult.
