Complete front and back cover art from the upcoming U.S. Paramount release. Going off the back cover it looks to have lossless audio and BD-Live features!

Have there been any rumors about Season 2 yet? I have the first season on DVD but have been holding off on buying season 2.

I'm also not replacing my Season 1 DVD set unless future seasons will be available on Blu. Hopefully they will be.

Considering they're starting at 1, I'd say it's pretty likely that the others will be available eventually. 2 will probably come out sometime in the Spring/Summer, with Season 3 being a day-and-date release with the DVD in the Fall.

Man I love this show! I can't wait for season 3's finale on Sunday! The thing is though, I might hold out on getting it on BD for the possibility that they might release some type of cool boxset when the series is over.

Im not sure, Season 3 should come out sooner than summer right? How long does it normally take for a tv series to get to DVD? Also this Series ends in December not in May like a lot of shoes.

Well I'm not sure about when Dexter seasons end or begin. But for MOST shows, the DVD release of the last season comes out a week or so before the start of the next season.

This is my favorite show ever.

When they revealed plans at the Dexter Pannel at comic con, for a future blu release I was stoked.

I'm pretty sure Showtime is looking to release Season 3 on blu. So they start with 1 and then move on to 2. 3rd season prob won't be available until Spring or Summer.

Im glad we have 2 more seasons to look forward to, which means (hopefully) 5 blu-ray sets.

Why is the first episode of season 3 on here...why not 2? It could tempt buyers to buy the next season when it comes out (actually, makes me think the next season to come out on Blu WILL Be season 3....oh no, not another prison break).

They're just trying to get you to watch it on television. Same reason there are random episodes of some other show. No need to jump to conclusions.

But, by the time this will come out, Season 3 will be long over (and many replays of it) so you couldn't really watch it on television. I just think its a little backwards. As a consumer, I' d rather a jumping off point for the next set if any extra episode at all.
