Default Old-school on wheels

Pic of my old-school car rig - Nakamichi TD-300 cassette pre-amp and Kenwood 25 w/ch amp/eq. Had it hooked up in the bedroom through a DC converter for years, but I just have to get the ambition to throw it in the SUV (until I upgrade of course )

I had a Pioneer FM-only+cassette, with an EQ of a brand I've forgotten, driving two Pioneer 6.5" and two Pioneer 6x9" speakers. It was Bad Ass.

I had to bolt them under the dashboard. Extraordinary sound...subwoofers were still years away (this was the early 70's) but it seriously got down. I think this was pre-Dolby.

Rock rock on.

Yup, they still made very decent stuff back then. Technics, Sansui, Pioneer ruled I had access to a machine shop in the 80s for the Nakamichi, so I built the faceplate for the dash and the speaker cabinets. It was wicked nice (to coin a local phrase)
