Default Is LOST 24fps or 60fps?

Can anyone tell me if LOST on blu-ray is 24fps? I was at Best Buy the other day and they had LOST playing on some of the TV's in the Magnolia department. I was blown away by how film-like the cimenatography seemed. I've never really watched the show and I'm feeling more and more like I'm missing out on something great. Now that all seasons are on blu I'm very tempted to get them, especially considering the reviews they've gotten on this site.

I don't know about that. The ones who have been watching since the beginning had it best. There's nothing like staying in suspense for a week, theorizing for months for the next season to air, hell...even commercial breaks are great. Remember Season 3's finale when we thought a certain few characters were killed by a few others, and then when it came back from commercial someone comes in to save the day? So awesome.

You are definitely missing something special! IMO, the greatest tv show of all times! Start with the pilot and if you're not hooked by then I'll be very surprised. But, one word of caution, it is VERY addictive! I have heard of people going through the first four seasons in no time.

I dont watch ANY TV shows while they are aired. I ALWAYS wait for disc. Commercials kill me and pull me out of the experience. LOST is too good for interuptions. I enjoy pacing myself like with a good book. Cant wait to see season 5 for the first time in December.

I wished I could do that, but I don't have the willpower to wait.
A friend of mine watches it on disc too and I have to be really careful not to spoil it for him.

Lost isnt meant to be seen as an .avi file, or a DVR recording, or withoout interruptions...at least not the first time. There's nothing like watching it in HD as it airs. When the seasons over, the only way to watch it is Blu-Ray, obviously...since you already know what's to come.
You missed out big time on Season 5, and you're going to have to wait another 5 and a half months for it.

Same here, until cable companies allow you to subscribe to just the channels you want and not just package deals I'll stick with my free local HD channels.

You guys got me feeling like such a loser for never watching LOST....I'm picking up season 1 on my way home from work.

Season 2 and on look significantly better on blu-ray, so if you enjoy Season 1...you're going to love the later seasons (PQ/AQ wise).

Season 2 (story wise) sucked. It has a lot of filler, and a lot of unresolved plot lines, but don't let that discourage you. The series picks up in full force after a few episodes of Season 3, and it's been an amazing show since.

I'm one of those guys I guess. Picked up Season 1 disc 1 on netflix last week. After watching it went to amazon, ordered seasons 1-4 for next day delivery. it was supposed to be delivered on Friday. I thought I'd have a nice marathon for the weekend. Amazon screwed up and although they did refund money for next day shipping I got the BDs only on monday...
So, I just finished season one.. Getting started on S2 today.

P.S. I don't wanna read on Lost Wiki there'll be spoilers I guess, but is the show over or still going? I saw S5 and S6 are scheduled for BD release later this year.

I am a very patient person and prefer to view LOST in the same fashion as quality cinema was meant to be viewed....UNinterupted.

i just started watching the show. I had seen the first couple of episodes of season 1 and my girfriend just got me season 1-4 for our 2 year anniversary. We are about half way through season 1 and loving it. I cannot follow shows on tv, blu ray is the only way to go, did the same with heros and next will be 24 when that is released.
