**NEW TITLE ANNOUNCEMENT**
And even more title reveals today! We dip into William Castle territory by serving up his 1964 deadly dream film THE NIGHT WALKER. First time on Blu-ray and features an all-new HD film transfer. Barbara Stanwyck and Robert Taylor, reteaming for their first film following their divorce(!), star in this intense thriller about a wealthy widow who is haunted by her husband and seduced by a handsome stranger – all in her dreams. Following the death of her millionaire husband, Howard (Hayden Rorke), Irene Trent (Stanwyck) endures dreams so real and terrifying, that she finds herself trapped in an eerie world existing between fact and fantasy. Isolated from the world by her husband's possessive nature, Irene feels there is no one she can turn to except for his personal attorney (Taylor), the only visitor Howard ever allowed to the house. But even as her dreams begin to take vivid shape, Irene begins to walk into a very real nightmare of deception, murder and betrayal. Extras are in progress. National street date is February 20th. However, pre-order now directly through us @ https://www.shoutfactory.com/product...roduct_id=6535 to have the item ship two weeks early! |

I must be in the minority here but this is the kind of announcement from SCREAM that gets me excited (along with GAMES and THE FORBIN PROJECT).......
and yet these get announced with minimal fanfare like today. At the Comic Con conventions where you're expecting the "good stuff" I get Collector's Editions of perfectly good existing blu ray titles that I already have ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

The TCM two-fer of NIGHT WALKER/DARK INTRUDER sourced lesser-quality PAL materials. Hopefully, Scream will use Universal's superior vault elements for the NIGHT WALKER Blu-ray.

Fantastic tittle. These are the kind of movies that really get me excited about as there isn't many cool Horror related tittles left from 1980 up, except a few seemingly impossible releases.

I bought the TCM double feature that included "Dark Intruder", and both films were unwatchable. (Well, okay, I did muddle through them, but it was a chore.) I've wanted a decent copy of The Night Walker for many, many years ... let's hope the Shout Factory's transfer is the one I've been waiting for!
