I'm surprised there's been nothing about this, but I was able to pick it up at FYE even though some sites list the release for next week.

For some reason, Magnolia isn't sending screeners. Otherwise there would be a review.

I've had this on my want list for months now, the price has been $30 on Amazon and I kept waiting for it go down. Not sure why the price is so high, even today as it is officially released. Not going to pay that price for it, especially with the crappy/generic artwork they slapped on it!

Seeing how it's put out by Magnolia, I anticipate it'll be on Netflix pretty soon. I'd like to check it out, if only so that it makes Mark Kermode shut up about it.

I pre-ordered this and Lobster and got locked in low prices of 17.99 from Amazon. I figured that's what they would be around release time too, but I've seen lots of pricing madness with Magnolia titles.

Blind buys both (blind buys all, really).

Not expecting the moon, but am excited for both.

High Rise has been pushed back to August 9. Best Buy has it for $14.99.

I got an email last week from Best Buy about the release date change, but my pre-order still shipped on time and arrived today.

Was surprised to find out this was delayed a week as I went into Best Buy specifically to get this yesterday.

Will try again on the 9th since Amazon still is refusing to price match this item. I even spoke with a Pricing Rep from Amazon who said they strive to have the best prices on every title but can no longer match any other retailer prices.

The disc arrived in Chile last week (imports normally arrive four-five days before their US street date). Really weird movie, I'll have to watch it a second time before I can pronounce judgment. Transfer is really good.

I've had the the digital version from VUDU for months. I didn't quite like it at first but upon further viewings - it's pretty good and subversive.

It's the cover above on a standard glossy slip and a standard BD case. Not sure what else there is to show.
