Post Serenity or King Kong (2005)?

Target has both Serenity and King Kong (2005) on sale this week for $14.99. I can only afford one of them. Which one should I get?

I'm about to break the common answer here lol.

I would go with King Kong. I've never seen Firefly (my friends love it) but Serenity wasn't interesting or entertaining enough to get me through half an hour to 1 hour.

King Kong though has a slow beginning, but once they get on the ship (and finally Skull Island) the events really became thrilling. The effects, creatures and action is very artistic and engaging on Skull Island.

Though it's up to you.

Definitely King Kong. Serenity is a slightly better version of Wing Commander with similiar effecxts.

Having seen both, I vote 'King Kong'. I didn't care for 'Serenity' at all. It's a TV show, with TV production values. In my opinion, 'King Kong' is a masterpiece... but it might not be in line with your tastes.
