Is it just me or others constantly" looking " for something to make there home set up better, a new display, new receiver,speakers...

I've finally reached the point where I'm happy with everything I have. I think it will be at least a year before I upgrade anything, possibly longer.

Yea I think I'm in the braket. I love my curretn setup, but I Still look at other things specially speakers (I don't have the moeny but still look) But I do want to upgrade them. that and serisoully thinking about another sub. for 5.2 setup. (I know it REALLY isn't 5.2 just sounds cool

)

Never satisfied. Hence, always "looking". Right now I'm "looking" at a Bellari VP 130 phono stage and an Audio Technica AT 150 MLX MM cartridge. I'm also "looking" at replacing my Infinity PS 12 subwoofer with something much, much better. I am further "looking" at the new Vincent Tubline SV-236 mk integrated amp, but I'm also "looking" at that one next to several of the McIntosh offerings. And lastly, but certainly not in any less way, I'm "looking" at the VPI SuperScoutMaster Rim Drive TT. The "looking" can become quite addictive really, if like me, your point of view is one of: there's always something better out there.

Reality is, however, that the Bellari, the Audio Technica and the sub will all probably advance from the "looking" stage to the "owned" stage in about the next 2 to 3 months. The rest kind of depends on things like powerball numbers, unexpected inheritences, finding a bag full of cash...

And then there's that small glance over to those Revel Ultima 2's. (Not going there)

I'm usually looking to upgrade my tv. It's a good tv but its wearing down a bit. You can tell the motion blur is getting worse because objects such as words and sports games jitter the most. It's time to get a Pioneer Elite Kuro

I am always thinking & looking at improving my setup ! Yes I am vary happy with where its at & what it is , but I keep thinking what can I do to make it better within my budget ! UPGRADE-ITIS !

I live for browsing for deals on audiogon.com. Interconnects, power cables, Pre/Pro, amps, conditioners, on and on.

I try to keep up with what's out there, but I'm satisfied with what I have for now. I couldn't afford to look seriously right now anyway.

I am pretty happy with the audio/video quality of home current home theater. However, I am looking for ways to make my theater more functional and comfortable.

New furniture is high on the list right now...

Op, I just flat out ran out of room.

It's either enjoy what I have or move. Luckily I made some sound decisions when designing, so I'm set. :- )

Right now, looking to upgrade the display. The one I have I bought about 4 years ago, and didn't know much about what I was buying. Now that I've gotten a bit of an education from sites like this one, I feel a little better prepared for what's out there. Now it's just a matter of saving up the money to go ahead and make a purchase.
