i don't love or hate them but in most cases they serve no purpose (hint, hint

). discussion about a topic is much more involving when people actually interact with each other through conversation than clicking on a checkbox.

I think they're only useful for holding lights up, or when you need to beat up a bunch of Agent Smith's.
