Default Had Imac in hot car now it is louder than normal

Hello,

I moved yesterday and the weather was about 100 degrees here in South Carolina. I had my Imac in my car on the way over, and stupidly did not unload it first. It probably sat in the car for about 30 mins to an hour before I unloaded it. I noticed it was extremely hot when I unloaded it but did not really think much about it at the time. I turned it on awhile ago and everything came on fine and it is working fine. However, I am concerned because it is making considerably more noise than it used to. It still isn't nearly as loud as some computers but I'm concerned that I may have fried one of the components yesterday. Can anyone chime in on if you think my computer will be OK and/or how I would go about getting it fixed if there is an issue...?

If it's still under warranty then just bring it in. Also check to make sure it isn't just sounding louder because it's against a wall and the previous house it was more open, thus reflecting sound easier. Idk. Apple is very good with warranty issues. Just don't tell them you moved or had it in a hot car.

good points. my cpu seems to be working better now. Maybe it just took a long time to cool down..? and Yes it is pretty close to a wall so that might be part of it. thanks man.
