As far as AVR's go, it's a pretty good beast! Does everything (except THX, but who really cares) and their service is excellent. Emailed them a question and they came back within 24 hours.

Are you liking yours? Any misgivings?

I love it. Paid about $550 at The Brick for their demo model as they were discontinued. Love the Paradigms too. They pack a punch for such small speakers, and my apartment is tiny.

It really adds something to movies that have a lot of action such as Die Hard 4 in today's sale.

I use it to play music too. Couldn't be happier with the sound upgrades I made this year.

That's terrific! And you certainly got a great and I mean GREAT price on the 6190. I bought it on sale when FS was having a sale around Xmas 2 years ago and the unit was still relatively new...I thought I got a deal at $1,100! Anyway, no regrets. I love it!

The Paradigms are a great speaker and I'm sure they pair well with the Yammy. Having a great receiver and some great speakers certainly does make watching movies or listening to music a satisfactory experience.
