I loved this movie so much, it just stuck with you, its how a Vampire movie should be.

I'm also a fan of the book and although I felt some stuff should of been added, I reckon they couldn't of done a better job. Just hope the English remake doesn't kill this one.

I was tempted to import the Swedish version, but held off as the price + charges worked out to be £30 odd quid, and although I like it, I can wait for a 50% price reduction.

Confirmed by Momentum that the release will use the theatrical subtitles (and not the inferior US subtitles).

Just been into my Amazon account to look at the status of another order and noticed my pre-order for LTROI now says it's getting ready for despatch and cannot be cancelled...

Hmm, well it looks like the subs are correct but, like the Swedish release, the lossless track is missing from the UK disc according to the Home Cinema Choice review...

It doesn't say, unless I somehow missed it. Anyway if no one mentions what it is before I post back I'll check mine when it arrives.

From the review it's got an audio commentary from John Ajvide Linqvist and Tomas Aldredson on the disc, the four deleted scenes in 1080p, the UK trailer in 480p, and finally an animated gallery of stills. I'll be keeping it despite the soundtrack being just DTS5.1...

Oh well if it doesn't have lossless there's no reason for me to get this since I already have the Swedish disc with the proper subtitles. It also has lossy DTS.

That's real interesting bunkaroo... the review states; 'Unlike the US disc (but as with the Swedish release) there's no lossless audio mix included, only bog-standard Dolby Digital and DTS 5.1 tracks.' If the Swedish Blu does have lossless DTS then it makes me wonder what else this review incorrectly states...

Bunkaroo, does the Swedish disc have the audio commentary?

The Swedish disc does not have lossless. What I meant was if the UK disc does not have lossless there's no reason to upgrade from the Swedish disc.

As far as the commentary I don't know. Wouldn't it be in Swedish anyway?

I can confirm as just received my copy today that there is no lossless audio. This is despite a dts hd master track advertised on the cover of the blu ray itself, which is a tad annoying.

So there isn't any proper releases of the movie? US one has f*cked up subtitles, UK and Swedish one has no lossless audio.

I have the U.S. version and I am buying the UK version as a Christmas present to myself. I love the film so it should def. be worth the money. The UK version does not have lossless audio, but it does have a great commentary.

Just rented this. It's a considerable achievement. By turn, raw, tender and poetical. I'd say it's up there with Martin and The Addiction as one of the best vampire movies.
