Default KFC - Who Loves the Skin?

As the title asks - who loves the KFC skin (original recipe)? I pull mine off and save it for last. It's so tasty and juicy - OMG! In the words of Stewie - "It's like an orgasm in my mouth!"

The grilled is ok. It's good, however I think the original is the best. Extra crispy is nasty. Too dry and too crispy!

I will never eat anything from there, KFC marinates everything in a slurry of MSG.

Yes but wouldn't you like to be healthy and mobile for most of those years? Not to mention heart problems and weight problems can really make your later years a pain in the ass.

While I agree one should eat healthy and not do things that will destroy your body - there is nothing wrong with eating indulgent food every once in a while. I also believe heart disease and the like, is genetic and either you have it, or you don't. Depending on how you eat may exacerbate the problem and speed things up in terms of getting heart disease.

Rather have the extra crispy than the original or grilled.

Technically guys, it's not skin. It's chicken rolled in flour and fried in a tower...it's not part of the bird at all really.

Remember now, stuff that gets fried in a tower will have the flavour in it of everything else that fried as well since the last time they cleaned it.

They do, they just get plucked and skinned before consumption so really what you think is its skin is the top layer of its muscle.

That's probably just chopped up chickens, not really sure. I would check wikipedia for that but we all know how inaccurate they are.

Guys, live by one simple rule.....everything in moderation!

There's nothing wrong with a little indulgence from time to time as long as it's not excessive. Eating KFC every so often is not going to literally shorten your life span. I love KFC and probably have it once every couple of months. I don't live off of it but I do allow myself to enjoy it now and then.

I don't get these "all or nothing" people who think if you're not constantly living off of tofu and wheat grass juice, you're going to die prematurely and be riddled with health issues along the way.

My grandfather lived until he was 86 years old (well beyond the average life span) and he ate bacon, drank like a fish, and never.....I mean NEVER exercised!

Here's a motto for you to live by.....Eat right, exercise daily, and die anyway. Why not enjoy life's pleasures along the way?

Oh, and as for the topic yes, the skin is awesome!
